I’ve recently started trying to properly track my home energy consumption (I have whole home consumption data which should suffice here but having a more granular view would probably be even better).
My question is, is there an integration or other strategy used by the hive mind to do a retrospective “what-if” analysis of how my electric bills would have changed had I been on a variety different electricity tariffs. For example, over the past year if I’d been using Octopus Agile (insert a range of other choices here) and I’ve collected all my usage data (including crucially my time of usage) could I produce a report showing how much I’d have saved by switching provider? I know that being on certain tariffs could change a users consumption behaviour (e.g. being on an off-peak overnight tariff might lead to you scheduling certain usage overnight) but putting aside this and just assuming your usage pattern doesn’t change, is there an easy way to answer this question?
