What is the longest a backup restore should ever take?

THE QUESTION:
How long is the longest it should ever take to restore a backup? I’m 2.5 hours in and still waiting.

RELEVANT DETAILS:

  • Observer: all green / good (see screenshot)
  • Backup size: 1.2 Gb
  • Hardware: RPi5 with NVMe SSD m.2 hat

Try accessing your HA instance in an incognito window or different browser.
If it loads, go back to your previous browser and clear the cache.

Just for the record. This restoration took somewhere between 2 - 2.5 hours to complete. The reason I know is because I had to repeat it because I used the wrong backup the first time. This time around, I kept track of how long it took.
