What is the Z-Wave Node Management card?

It’s mentioned in the removing section of the Z-Wave Devices - Adding and Removing page. Based on the wording, I assume it’s not the control panel as that doesn’t have the “remove failed node” button.

Starting to wonder if this is simply outdated documentation.

UPDATE: Apparently the “remove failed node” button appears automatically in the Z-wave control panel when there’s a node with a failed state.

Config > Integrations > Z-wave > Configure. Remove node is there. Failed or not, you can remove from there.

The documentation says it only works if the device is still online, which it’s not. Thus I cannot activate it to be excluded.

Hmm. ok. For some reason I thought I had previously removed a failed node… I haven’t done anything recently so I must be wrong. Sorry

The word “online” does not appear on the Adding/Removing page, can you be specific in what you mean?

Did you follow the instructions to trick the system to force a node to be failed so the “remove failed node” button appears?

The device is not battery powered and is no longer hooked up to electricity. That’s what I mean by “not online”, sorry for the confusion.

trick the system to force a node to be failed so the “remove failed node” button appears?

Ah, following the instructions makes the button appear? That wasn’t clear in the instructions. I assumed it meant I trick it and then find the existing “failed node” button.
