What raspberry OS is best fot HA dashboard?

I have a 7 inch touch display and a Raspberry 4, thinking to build a dashboard for my HA.

What raspberry OS is the best for kiosk type browser? Something like Fully Kiosk Browser in Android.

Thanks in advance.

Did you make any progress on this? I’m looking for the same solution…

For it I went Android way
OS is Lineage and dashboard is HADashboard (but in grid view what is not deleloped any more :frowning: ) Liked the screensaver with clock and weather plus very versatile layout not dependant of Lovelace one.
At the end all comes to Your preferences I guess

I tried flashed the android to RPi4 then install fully kiosk browser. But it’s not ideal because the LineageOS doesn’t seem to work nice with RPi and it tends to lock up my HA. Too hassle to maintain…

Now I flashed Raspbian instead then run Chromium in kiosk mode. So far looks ok. I plan to run a second instance HA also at the same RPi as the my debug environment.

Have you taken a look at HomeHabit if you are running android? It costs per device but it presents a very nice standard looking interface.

Is this from LineageOS or the HADashboard?

It is from dashboard app.

Looks nice.

Can you enlighten me since I cannot find an answer: I installed the app and get a question to use a G00gle-ID or e-mail address to log in.
Did you have to register before being able to start using the app?

IRC mail is needed only for settings backup. You have to bind it to Your HA instance only.

BTW which version You installed? Is it for phone or tablet?

The first screen I get only gives me these 2 options.
I cannot find a way to enter my HA address.
