I’m looking to invest in building some IP in the smarthome/automation hardware space and I’ve got my own desires but wondered what others feel is missing?
Happy to collaborate with other entrepreneurs here too.
- A good temperature humidity sensor with zigbee, clock, decent battery life (>12 months) and e ink screen (essentially the Xiaomi Thermometer 3 with eink and zigbee)
- An esphome based voice assistant with a decent sized (>5 inch) IPS touch screen that I can use with lvgl
But I fear my willingness to pay will leave too little margin
