Where are the friendly names and other data for Z-Wave devices stored?

I’m working on restoring information from an older system that crashed (and my backup RAID had issues, too!) so I can import it into a new system. Right now I’m working with Z-wave devices. I see the devices are there, since they’re all stored in the Aeotec Z-Stick I’ve been using. Where can I find the friendly names for them in the configuration files? (Or even if they’re not in the config directory, if someone can give me the path for the partition and folders to get to the files, that’d do it.)

I’m really hoping I can find this, since it looks like if I can’t, I’ll have to figure out a way to ID these devices, since info on the device type and so on doesn’t seem to be in the Z-Stick.

all the info you need should be stored in the hidden .storage folder (found in the config directory) in the xx_registry files.

Is there an easy way to get in to .storage with the file editor? Or is there a better way to see or edit (or copy) the files in there?

Try the Samba addon so you can easily get to the files via the network from your pc.

D’oh.

I completely misunderstood the Samba add-on. I thought it was to read or write to OTHER shares (like with Samba backup), so I ignored it. It didn’t occur to me it was the other way around! Thanks!
