Where did all my devices and entites go?

Update: I am able to see the missing entites/helpers/devices if I reboot in safe mode?!

Full disclosure, my setup has been in a good spot for a few months and I haven’t really had the need to dig to deep into anything over the past couple weeks. However, today I went to look at a specific entity and was surprised to see that none of my Devices/Entities/Helpers are listed in the Devices & Services section of the HA settings menu?! I have checked both desktop and mobile and can confirm no filters are turned on. I’ve attempted to search but nothing populates in the directory?! I even tried to create an entity card on the dashboard and can’t see any when searching from there?? I can confirm they are alive and working if I select any of the ones I have on my dashboard they pull right up. I did just update to the 2026.2.0 release, but to see if that might fix it, but I originally noticed it on 2026.1.3.

Any suggestions?!

Check all your logs for errors in integrations. Safe mode boot basically doesn’t load custom anything, so it is a good chance something there is a problem.

@Sir_Goodenough thanks for the suggestion. I was able to see my Backups once I was in Safe mode, allowing me to restore one from last week. Fortunately once I did this, everything fell back to the way it should be. So weird that any search I did would just simple yield 0 results in the way of devices/entities/helpers. Nevertheless it seems to be working once again. Thanks!

If it’s an integration problem, it will likely be back.
Look at your logs…
