For example, I think I have an issue since 2025.11.x with the ‘light turn on’ sending malformed/incorrect zigbee to specific bulbs. Was working last month and now not this month. The toggle works fine. It’s both Tuya downlights of a certain model.
If you are using ZHA, that’s a core integration so issues should be posted in the “Issues” section of the Home Assistant Core github repository:
If you are using Zigbee2MQTT, then it belongs on their issues page:
Thanks for that.
I believe the issue was introduced with the new versions of home assistant this month (2025.11.1, then 2, then 3) I am pretty sure. Its just two zigbee downlights and I have re-worked the automations for them to do toggles now rather than send a turn on. My dashboard app/screen does toggles anyway, which is why I took so long to figure this out. The dash showed it on, but the light never lights, then I can toggle it off and on and it works, manually running the step from the automation never actually lit the light.
As the zigbee2mqtt addon can turn it on and off fine, I assume it is the HA ‘turn light on’ that is the issue here - but ONLY for these downlights. Other bulbs in the house work fine.
So many deletes and re-pairs done.
