Of ZHA I assume??? This may help: How to actually write a quirk - a complete(?) guide · zigpy/zha-device-handlers · Discussion #4339 · GitHub - otherwise:
Yes ZHA. Thank you for the link. However I have a Quirk.py file but am looking to what folder it should go, since I have no homeassistant/config folder.
What is your installation method and what is that file for? Let’s start with the basics.
The main configuration folder, /config, is the same folder that configuration.yaml lives in. If you see that file, you are in the /config folder.
There is no such thing as homeassistant/config
To make it more clear
homeassistant/ , is one and the same as config/
I believe you most likely have been confused by the " File Editor " App, Or by reading some none official(or confusing) Docs, referring to /config
I must admit, the Docs, starts out early with an attempt to “Confuse” People in this Doc ![]()
… Or maybe it’s the FileEditor
( Thou both “Paths” point to the same /homeassistant IS /config )
And if You use the ssh App, /Root ,you have symlinks /config and /homeassistant ( both points to same folder … And both point’s to /homeassistant
And if you go to the /
You find a symlink /config pointing to /homeassistant & a /homeassistant Folder
So tell me, does there exist a /config ?
… yes outside the Container
And Btw, You are in the Samba Container (where You have a /config -link) ![]()
The Name “HOMEASSISTANT” You see in your file-exploerer , Is Your Server Name
And btw network fileshare uses \ , as im sure you are aware ![]()
Well people fast get use to small “deviations” and Homeassistant, Develope/Change fast
Now that You know (i hope) then get on with your initial task, Create the “zha_quirks” folder, in /config … ( aka /homeassistant )
