Which ecobee model is best for HA?

Hi, regarding thermostats…
Which model of Ecobee is recommended for use with Home Assistant?
There’s Essential, Enhanced, and Premium. (I think you have to have Home Kit to get it integrated?)
Or is there another thermostat that has better compatibility?

I have the Enhanced, and it works pretty well with HA using the HomeKit integration.

Communication and control have been reliable. Here’s what I can see from HA:

What I can’t see - and is a frustrating limitation - is the detailed operational states of the Ecobee, such as whether the system is running at high or low speed, or during the winter, whether it’s using the standard or emergency heating source.

I think this limitation is due to the HomeKit integration though, and not which model of Ecobee you have.

Got the Ecobee enhanced installed. Once on Wifi, HA saw it. I don’t think I added any homekit integration, but I saw a new device for Ecobee show up. Added to my dashboad. It just gives the basics. Pretty cool tho!
