Which ev charger to buy with local ha support in 2026?

Hope I am here on the right spot with the above question. My wallbox pulsar gave up after 4 years of limited use. I get no support at all from wallbox after several attempts and am very disappointed.
Could any of you share your brand of ev charger available within Europe preferrable with local HA integration available.
Many thanks.

Not understanding you: What’s a eu loader?

I’m guessing a EV charger that is available in the EU.

A search returned quite a number of hits. Maybe narrow down the criteria a little and see what happens. Is this tinder for chargers?

strange Wallbox doesn’t respond at all, they usually do.
I have 2 x Copper SB for 4 years now and they’re still going strong (hope I didn’t jinxed it just now), very happy with them, especially because of having full local control over MQTT.
but the newer models don’t support local control anymore, so when they die, Wallbox isn’t an option anymore. therefore I’m also interested in other brands who support full local control. a quick google search “best wallbox for home assistant local control” gives some interesting results like Lektrico and Go-e.

I meant a loader suitable to be used in Europe

Might want to add the word Charger to your title and eliminate some of the questions, otherwise we will think you are this guy.

I live in Germany and bought one from the Austrian based company go-e.

They have an official documented API, you can feed it through ethernet with the current values of your smart meter / solar production (for automatic surplus charging) and there’s an actively maintained HA integration.

Very happy with it.

I did some online reading on go-e.com, it seems they very much encourage custom integrations and tinkering, the chargers support numerous protocols and standards! I know now what to buy when my current wallbox dies.
I just wonder, is every setting available through local api?

Thank you for the feedback. I also am looking into the direction of go-e. This article (How to Integrate the go-e Charger into Your Smart Home | go-e) on their website looks promising regarding their overall support to integrate their charger into a home automation system. Looks as an attractive choice.
