Which Haier hOn Integration, Andre0512 or gvigroux, as per August 2025?

Never was able to integrate my Haier aircons in Home Assistant. Uninstalled the integrations and try it fresh.

Asked AIs and got compelling answers, but both for the opposite integration ;-(

Shall one now (August 2025) go for Andre0512 or gvigroux hOn integration?
And will it work after HACS installation (and login credentials) or are some manual tweaks needed?

As there are some fixes in there. Andre0512 is somewhat silent since some months sadly.

So guys please let me know, if the HoN integration works at this moment (i am thinking to buy a Haier/Hoover oven)?

I’d also like to know this. Struggling to find a clear answer anywhere… Feels that perhaps it’s a bit risky in any case

Have tried both versions, but refuses to set anything up after logging in!

Thanks. Sounds enough for me to avoid the machine then and choose an LG or Bosch instead

I use hon from gvigroux with my Haier HP150M8-9 Heat Pump Water Heater.

Reading and setting programs with values is working. Changing the config doesn’t work with my device…
