Which PV system integrates well with HA? Anker, Solakon, Yuma?

Hello,
I would like to install a kind of balcony power plant PV system with approximately 2000WP on my flat roof.
I read on Anker that it doesn’t seem to integrate with home automation.
Since I have Miele washing machines, dishwashers, and dryers, all of which can be set to the switch-on time via app… I think it should work with home automation,
I want to be careful when purchasing a PV system, so that it doesn’t integrate or that I have to use a cumbersome cloud system from the manufacturer.

Are there any recommendations for this?
Regards,
Achim

There is an Anker Integration that does use Ankers Cloud API but it’s not endorsed by Anker and could break at any time. It’s also not perfect/complete (for example, battery temperature doesn’t seem to be reported via a known end point). If you can live with the shortcomings of the Anker Integration, it does work quite well though. For me the biggest downer is that integrating the Anker system into the Energy Dashboard requires several additional sensors you need to configure manually.

If you want to be in control, an energy meter on your grid connection would be always working. There are quite many solutions with clamps that will serve you.

Hi

I think, or rather, hope I’ve found the right thing; at least, the information on their website reads exactly like what I’m looking for. Huawei Sun2000 inverters seem to have an open-source API that should allow access via HA without any problems. Supposedly, the more powerful Huawei inverters, such as the 1500 series, can be throttled to 800W output without any problems. That makes sense for me, as that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I plan to later expand a 2000Wp/800W limited system to a standard PV system, and then I can easily adapt their inverters without having to buy everything new. With the commonly offered plug-in-play and all-in-one systems like Growatt, Anker, etc., none of this seems to work.

Can anyone confirm this?
The information above is based purely on my research… but I lack the professional expertise to verify it.

Here’s the information from the aceflex.de website.

A powerful tool for this is Home Assistant Huawei Sun2000, an open-source software that enables smart energy management. If you own a Huawei Sun2000 inverter and want to integrate it with Home Assistant, you’ve come to the right place!
