Which version am I running

Hi all

I’ve previously installed Home Assistant burning the image straight onto an SD card. That worked well but I started again with a new setup following this guide - https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/installation/raspberry-pi/

When I login to the interface I don’t have the Supervisor option, so can’t add in any add-ons. Looking through the guides it looks like I’ve installed the wrong version, but don’t know which one I’ve got.

System Health

arch armv7l
dev false
docker false
hassio false
os_name Linux
os_version 4.19.97-v7l+
python_version 3.7.3
timezone Europe/London
version 0.107.7
virtualenv true

Lovelace`

How can I install Home Assistant on Raspbian and have the add-ons as well?

Thanks
Mark

Look at the last line of the system health. It says you have installed it in a virtual environment just as the instructions in the link said it would.

You have a couple of options to get the supervisor. You can burn an image to a card just as you did before. Or you can install it in docker manually following the instructions for a “generic Linux server”.

Thanks Finity

I’m assuming this is the guide https://www.home-assistant.io/hassio/installation/#alternative-install-home-assistant-supervised-on-a-generic-linux-host

Yes it is.
