Seems like every single release I have some issue with the HA Companion apps on either my Mac or my iPad.
This time it’s to do with the Mac app.
It kept showing the “Cannot connect to Home Assistant” thing, which is absolutely a stupid thing to say when I can open my HA UI in Safari in milliseconds.
So I decided to reset AND reinstall the whole app and retry setup, still no go.
I will probably end up using a PWA for now, because those ALWAYS work with no faffing about. I am rather annoyed about losing push notifications though, so I’ll come back once it starts working again…
I did check Console because I’m not one to rant with no context.
