Hi everyone,
I find the ESPHome integrations own device overview rather inconvenient and wanted to batch delete some devices via the normal Devices tab.
However, Delete is disabled. Anybody know why?

Well, i do not want to delete 20 devices one by one nor am i trying to delete all 40.
Point of devices overview is the ability to modify multiple devices at once. So why is delete disabled?
Because it’s the Integration which controls deletion of devices in most cases, not HA. Had a try with mine and the only devices I could delete in bulk were those created via MQTT.
It makes sense in a way, since deleting them from HA only would mean that the integration will just announce them as new devices on the next restart.
The integration behaves the same way. you delete from ESPHome and it will be shown as new on next broadcast.
