We can’t see what the update is going to do yet.

My guess, we had a substitute teacher do the release, not the boss who usually gets it right.
That is funny!
But, I think this is normal. I just decided now to ask.
I don’t want to take the update until I read the release notes.
Not like I won’t take it anyway. LOL
This has never once happened to me. Are you in the beta channel?
I see that the release notes are present now, so another possibility might be that you’re viewing a cached version of the release blog post?
Nope. Not beta.
Tou mean it is funny the release notes get released as part of the software release bundle? Not sure I understand.
Are you complaining your latest release notes are buried part way down in the documentation instead of right at the top? Could the url just point to the jump where the relevant changes are?
I hate scrolling too! Gimme the info right away!
Not taking the time to over explain what I see and have shown.
If you don’t get it, I can’t help you.
Didn’t see it. Now I do. Seems fixed. In defence: On my phone the letters are very tiny on pictures.
Still: I’d like it to jump to the latest patch. I’ve already read the older one.
Note that the patch notes on the blog are basically a copy-paste of what is on the github release, and that github release will definitely be there before the images are built:
