Why don't helpers show their use?

For devices I can see all the automations and all the scenes, where this device is referenced. Sometimes you try things out and later notice, it wasn’t a good idea after. For one example I have an input.boolean and used it as condition in several (similar) automations. The helper still exists and is still used, but no longer in that way. It would have been nice to have a simple check if I deleted them all or forgot one. It can’t be done for entities either, but most entities are part of a device. Helpers are the exception here.

You could install the Spook integration.

Then delete the helper and Spook will tell you if something is used that does not exist.

I know this is backwards. But works.

That information is available in the entity’s Settings > Related

Thank you. It’s not actually in the settings but next to and outside them, which makes it rather hidden. But it is there and with your help I found it. Hopefully I won’t forget again. Danke.
