Wifi temperature sensor compatible with Home Assistant

Hello.

Is there any kind of device compatible with Home Assistant style Aqara Temp, does not require zigbee hub, and connects directly to the wifi.

I have seen some from shelly, but they look big to me.

Thanks

big? H&T is a ball-like formfactor with 4cm diameter. And it looks/feels cute

In the videos it looks bigger than the Aqara. I was looking for it more similar to the Aqara and that you can put it on a wall without it sticking out too much.

Hook a Shelly Uni with a (couple of) temp sensor(s)?

Their webpage mentions DS18B20 temp sensor.

I wanted a self contained device to be pleasing to the eye etc, couldn’t find a wifi one (plus wifi anything can be a battery drain).

What I did instead was pick up a Bluetooth thermometer and a M5ATOM ESP32 device. The M5Atom is a nice self contained ESP32 which makes it easy to hide somewhere in the room and acts as the bridge between the thermometer and HA as it has built in Bluetooth and Wifi. Powered from a USB phone charger.

Devices: Xiaomi Mijia BLE Sensors — ESPHome (scroll down to the round body ones - LYWSDCGQ)
Can also be done with Govee devices although that is a little more fiddly.

Total setup time, about 30 minutes, change the single battery every couple of months as I use rechargeable - using HA to alert me when the battery is going. .

thanks for your ideas
