My motivation: I wanted a large screen for HAOS but I wanted it cheap, and I didn’t want to spend money on another processor just to run a web browser when HAOS was already running on a reasonably powerful mini pc.
So I thought I would buy a 32 inch tv as a monitor and put Proxmox on the mini pc and install HAOS and Windows 11 on it as virtual machines.
The HAOS part is easy, but running Windows on Proxmox AND getting the GPU output to passthrough to the HDMI port was not easy. But after several days of going round in circles (I even considered using Linux instead of Windows at one point) I found a website which I was able to follow successfully. https://github.com/LongQT-sea/intel-igpu-passthru
