Is there a way to get around wire guard being blocked? Is there a server that can be run for a VPN that cannot be blocked? Like can I run an open on server somehow or configure wire guard in a manner that cannot be blocked? My job is getting tremendously silly with its public WiFi and blocks almost everything. Now they blocked my ability to use wire guard to access my server.
Avoid using common IP address ranges like 192.168.0.1-255 for the VPN.
It’s not it’s random. It was working with windscribe for a bit. It stopped today. Isn’t openvpn impossible to block? Is it only wire guard easily available for home assistant?
For anyone using an Aruba networks free public WiFi network, use port 443 to connect and don’t use a domain with a word considered vulgar. Like poop, Or fart, Or beer. Not joking. I was trying to use 443, and it didn’t work, then I made a new domain for it and forwarded traffic to the IP. It was a .servebeer.com domain from no-ip. Still didn’t work. Then made a domain without anything that could be vulgar. Now it works. Doesn’t work with any port but 443 though. Despite forwarding two separate ports.

Aruba WiFi networks block vulgar words in domains and blocks vpns on ports other than 443.
