Wrong system time

I’m using hass.io. After some automations didn’t work as expected I discovered the system time is incorrect.
If added the date time sensor in the front end and it is showing 16:56 while the time on my pc is 19.28. I tried the date command over ssh and it’s also showing the wrong time. Timezone is correct. Date -s returns “Can’t set date: operation not permitted”.

How do I set the system time?
How do I check and activate synchonisation with ntp-server?

other relevant information may be:

  • I’m using duckdns with ssl
  • I’ve my router configured to forward port 443 to 8123

This is probably stupid. I fixed it by disconnecting te power. Wait for a few minutes and connecting the power again. Only restarting from the front end did not help. It took me over a week.

This didn’t work for me unfortunately. My hassio date is 4 days ago (dec 10th)… not a clue how to fix this.
Also tried to set date, but operation not permitted.
