WTH Can't I set the default dashboard in device companion app and not user?

I would like to have different dashboards for each of my 5 touchscreens and not have the need to create 5 user accounts. I would like to have 1 account (basically readonly) and use the companion app (or other) to set the default dashboard for that device.

Is this what you are referring to?

That’s what I’d like to see. I don’t see that on the iOS 18.0, Home Assistant App 2024.12.2

Because it is in the user settings. Click on you icon at the botton in sidebar menu

Thank you. I had 1 dashboard with multiple pages. I need to create multiple dashboards.

As per 2025.12 this does not seem to be possible anymore. Is there a workaround without creating a new user (which seems like a bad solution tbh)?

Same for me as well. Now its not possible to use different dashboards on different devices for same user. I dont see that option on user settings anymore.

I just updated to 2026.2 and my Companion App is now loading the default overview dashboard. I was unable to find a way to have it use my specific mobile dashboard. I can hardly believe that this isnt an option anymore so I must be missing something.

And it’s actually the same for the order of the sidebar items. This used to be device specific but now seems to be account related.

Same here, option for per device default dashboard seems to be gone and has been for months. This seems like a pretty stupid functionality regression. Having different dashboards for phone, computer and tablet seems like a pretty common use case.
