WTH - Can't we permanently silence ESP firmware updates?

I have several ESPHome devices, some of which refuse to update their firmware OTA. These devices are in production and I’m not going to rip them off the wall every time an update is released (which occurs regularly). Can we please add a (reversable) option to silence all future firmware upgrades for a given device?

Seriously, I’m tired of seeing the notifications that my EP1s are out of date after every single ESP update.

Edit: Disabling the Update Entity does not count (even though it achieves the above). This is a UX WTH, not a functionality WTH.
