When using the duplicate functionality on a script, a new script is created with the same name plus a “(duplicate)” suffix. This is perfect! It gives one the opportunity to use the original name as a template for the name of the new dup. However, when using the duplicate functionality on an automation, the new dup automation just gets the generic name of “New automation”. One can give it a proper name while saving but this requires one to remember the exact name of the original automation from which it was duplicated (or as I find myself constantly doing… copy/paste it from an un-committed rename of the source automation before duplication, which adds 3 extra steps to the process).
