WTH why cant I use a regex or just even a wild card to select entities or devices in History

It would be nice to be able to show multiple entities easily in the History or really any other multiple device pick location.

For example, Im trying to see the history of all my leak sensors to see if I had any issues. It would be a lot easier to be able to select the device or entities like

binary_sensor.*leak_sensor

Maybe have an advanced option instead of just the simple single entity or device selection.

Yeah I know this was kinda the way it was before the pickers, but I feel we have lost some functionality in lieu of ease of use.

Also both regex and glob wildcards should be possible where glob is by default and regex is for advanced users.

Agreed. Lack of regex makes me rarely use this. Simplified into irrelevance.
