It would be helpful to have an option to perform a hardware reboot of the device that Home Assistant is running on after performing an update to Home Assistant core.
I’m curious why you think that would be useful? Restarting the software only has always been sufficient for my needs.

I usually perform a reboot so the HW connections (USB Zigbee and ZWave) connections receive a physical disconnect besides the software disconnect they get when performing a Home Assistant restart. I find it puts the networks, particularly the ZWave network in a better state.
I’m at about 9 months right now without rebooting my host. Also using zwave.
