I used to have Home Assistant running as a TrueNAS app with perfect results using TTY and Apple Homepods via pyatv. A few months ago I decided to install HomeAssistant Core in a VM so I started from scratch… since then my HomePods are completly unreliable. IF they get recognized, I add them… and 1, 2 or 3 days at most… they just stop working… TTY of course stops working and automations are broken. It’s been several weeks since I decided to just let it go… i tried all the fixes and suggestions found at the pyatv repository (there’s several similar issues reported) with no luck… So I removed all my homepods, removed the tty from my automations and removed every reference of my homepods from HA. Everything else is working great!! I love HA! but now that WTH is open… I wanted to bring this to the front… Because even trying the fixes has not given me results. Should I start again from scratch?
