Wybot pool robot integration

Hi all,
I got the chance to put my hand over a wireless wybot i30 pool cleaner.
The robot is great but the mobile app is a disaster, with barely no useful information and very limited control over the robot.
It connects to the robot with Bluetooth and the robot seems to connect with wifi to update its firmware, as we have a wifi SSID/pw to enter during the pairing.
It would be great to get rid of the useless app and gain a little more info and interaction with the robot with a HA integration, either by Bluetooth or wifi.
Does anyone use this device ?

Hey there I just finished creating this integration GitHub - bassrock/hass-wybot: HomeAssistant integration for WyBot Pool Robot would love more testers to see if it works with their systems

Great ! Does your integration work without a dock ? Which entities are available in HA ?

Thanks for this! Testing it currently and it seems to be working great.

Does the integration overwrite what has been set by the Wybot App?
Small detail, but integration image doesnt show up.

It’s coded for it, but I don’t have one without a dock, so I am unable to test it. It makes the robot show up like other vacuum types in homeassistant.

It should not overwrite. The apps communicates over a WyBot MQTT service and updates the topics just like the app.

In my setup the integration does not show that the robot is cleaning, but rather that it is “returning to dock”

Thank you for your work, i tried it yesterday with my S1 without a dock.
It worked great to start/stop the robot outside of the water and to change the cleaning mode.
Is there a way to see the battery state in a future update ?

Willing to do as much testing as you need done with a C2 robot. Once I get some warm weather as right now I have an ice cube for a pool. Lol

Send me a message with what you want to test and will get back to you
