Hi, newbie here …
I have tried searching the forum but have not yet found a solution.
I just purchased a Wyze Cam V2 and have the following in my configuration file, but it doesn’t show up under entities?
ffmpeg:
Camera:
- platform: ffmpeg
name: wyze
input: "rtsp://xxxx:[email protected]/live"
Hassbian, Raspberry pi 3 B+
Have you flashed the rtsp firmware from Wyze onto the camera? There are instructions to do so on Wyze’s site, along with the firmware files.

What are you running HASS on/what flavor of HASS (hassbian/docker/hass.io, etc).
If you’re running on a Pi you may need to install ffmpeg from what I can remember.

Hi, as i wrote i’m running Hassbian, Raspberry pi 3 B+
I have ffmpeg installed
It will not work as a direct intergration in HA as rtsp, you have to use Motion-Eyes (etc.) to be able to stream the WyzeCam…

That was happening. I kept regenerating the URL and eventually it stopped failing. There’s an update I need to install I hear.
