I’m checking out Wyze cameras and integration with HA.
I have connected it through MQTT and because of it, I am unsure on how to trigger motion from my Wyze 4 camera.
Usually, I just select the camera and select “When motion is detected” then …notification.
But with a new brand of camera and the use of the MQTT Bridge, I am uncertain if I am doing this correctly because I am not receiving errors, yet I am not receiving notifications.
I am used to seeing the motion logic in HA that states “if motion is detected”, and not the variables “on” or “off” for detection. That sounds more like it is referring to whether motion detection is toggled on or off as opposed to verifying motion.
Any assistance towards the right direction would be appreciated.
