Is it possible to add the arm/disarm state to the SBS50? It would be great!
@rtvanhook I tried to reproduce it, even with the latest version all seems to work here, including your devices. Can you check if if the account that you are using in home assistant is working in the app and if your clock is in sync (thanks @JWvdVeer )
Hello,
First of all, congratulations on this integration.
Also, even though it’s outside the scope of the integration, I have XP0A-MR. However, the voices are only in German. It is impossible to get English or French voices :-(.
Does anyone know of a way to flash them, by any chance?
X Sense support told me that these detectors are only in German, even though the application can be in the language of your choice.
Which country you are living in? I bought my system at Amazon in US and announcement is in English
hello i’m living in belgium. And buy these on Amazon.de
On Amazon.com.be and Amazon.fr this ones doesn’t exist ![]()
Did you check AliExpress? I found few on AliExpress, but they are located here in US
Thanks for your reply. Well, i wait there is a French Version ![]()
I noticed the same thing. Is there any way to move this forward?
Absolutely… ideally, it would be great to expose an automation to Alexa, so I can merely ask Alexa (over the sirens) or press a Aqara button to mute the alarm… Anyone got that far?
Is here any update to trigger the alarm sirene? I would like to use it with Alarmo. I have XS0B-MR
Hi just setting up the HACS integration for a smoke alarm i have, which is the XS01-WX. It connects ok and displays the following :-
Not sure I am not missing something as doesn’t have any details about if has detected something etc?
Anyway get the same with this smoke alarm?
Thanks ![]()
Anyone thinking about buying an X-Sense device, check for issues mentioning “Alarm” and “Update” on GitHub · Where software is built
There are serious issues for several devices updating the app. The integration can’t fix this and does not handle it.
Entities available when device offline (Smoke/CO alarm SC07-WX) · Issue #66 · Jarnsen/ha-xsense-component_test · GitHub is marked “closed” at the time of writing, although nothing has been fixed.
Indeed I confirm there are issues with the SC07-WX that aren’t being addressed at all, not even with a comment, by developers: they regularly go stale and one has been automatically closed as not planned. I repeat here what I wrote on Github:
These are security devices we’re talking about, and since you guys decided to publish code involving them, I think you should take a bit more responsibility and be a little more active here. I don’t exclude that I might collaborate actively, but I’d like to see some signs that this project (which led me to buy X-Sense devices) is not completely dead. No offense and thanks for your work.
At present, for people looking to buy smoke/CO alarms to fully integrate within Home Assistant, I would avoid X-Sense and would probably choose Tuya devices.
I confirm, that the SWS0A water sensor works, just got a set of them and tested them successfully with HA.
I wish they would be usable in HA without the base station or internet.

Too late, already got some. Is this integration still maintained? Is there work going on to bring this to core?
@kr0ner I’d be curious about your work on the 868 MHz band, could you provide some more details? What did you find out about the protocol?
I’ve been reading a lot about Tuya devices having false-alarms.
After reading this thread I went for Aqara ones, so far I’m satisfied, even though they’re rather pricey (at least the EU version).
First of all, thank you very much for the great work. I have been waiting a long time for the test button for the heat detectors XH02-M. It seems like this feature is still missing although this type of sensor is marked as fully-supported and the app does allow remote testing of those heat sensors. I would be willing to share a device for testing purpose if required. Would it be possible to add this test button soon?
I still want to continue on the integration, but my time has been very limited last few months. I was working on rewriting the code and structure it better, but haven’t touched the code in a while now.
I just saw a bug-report inJarnsens github of an upcoming api-change in home assistant. I’ll try to fix that one first and then try to pick it up from there.
Somthing is changing, i recived this mail from xsense few minutes ago.
Hello Jarno,
I hope you are doing well! This is Sophie from X-Sense – we have already been in contact.
I would like to share some good news with you in advance: next month we are planning to officially release the Home Assistant integration. It will support the MQTT protocol, so a cloud integration will no longer be necessary. Once the official release takes place, you can update your app to the latest version and also update the firmware of your base station to the latest version in order to find the information about the Home Assistant integration directly in the app.
Many thanks as well for the script you wrote back then for integrating X-Sense into Home Assistant. It has received a lot of attention and is greatly appreciated by many people! Now that we officially support the Home Assistant integration ourselves, I absolutely wanted you to be the first to know.
Our integration currently works with the products that are used in combination with the base station. You are very welcome to take a look at our shop. I would be happy to send you the products of your choice free of charge so that you can test the new Home Assistant integration nex, just let me know!
Many thanks and best regardsText
