Xiaomi motion sensor extreme low lx

Hi all,

For a while I have an Xiaomi motion sensor which I only was using for motion, but for a few days I wanted to work with the lumination.

I saw that my lx value it not higher then 100lx. I have checked that in grafana but values higher then 100 has not been measured.

I wonder If my sensor is broken, or i did miss some configration.

My sensor has been added by MQTT discovery, but I also tested it by adding the sensor manualy.

Does anyone has the same issue ? (meassuring extreem low lx)

I think the lux sensor is not very good.

any advise which I must buy ? I read that the hue is beter but are theire other tasts of light-sensors that also work with HA ?

There are a lot of options I think, the Aeotec Multisensor, Fibaro Motion sensor, DIY etc.
Maybe it could also be that your position for the lux sensor is not optimal for accurate readings, you would need to investigate this, place the sensor in a different place and test.
