Hey guys, I just bought one of those xiaomi smart switches (https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B07DFVNRTM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and Hassio is identifying it as
sensor.bedroom_switch_battery_level
, not as a binary sensor.
Any idea?
I’m using Rapberry Pi + Deconz, on Phoscon App it’s showing as Switch.
I have that switch. Works fine. However i have the Xiaomi hub connecting directly to hass.io on the pi using the xiaomi component.
I’ve a lot of sensors and light working directly with Hassio using Deconz.
This is my first switch.
Mine are identified as below :
binary_sensor.switch_158d0001d62b0e
last_action: null
battery_level: 50.4
friendly_name: DansLightSwitch
I also have entries like yours showing up, but that’s because i have templates set up to show me the battery level as a sensor…

I am in the process of buying some Xiaomi components for my system. Are you using the switch linked above directly with Hassio/Deconz, ie. no Xiaomi Gateway? Are you using the Raspbee or some other interface?
