Xiaomi vacuum Unavailable in version 2020.12.1

vacuum stays unavailable after entering below in config.yaml
vacuum:

  • platform: xiaomi_miio
    host: 192.168.20.10
    token: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am using the token_extractor tool to get the token and confirm other tokens from other devices have worked. I have also tried to change vlans, disable pi-hole and reset vacuum but to no avail.

logs from hassio:

I have the same problem have you managed to fix this

no, still having the same issue mate!. Hoping someone can help

Mine had worked like a charm for two months until the other day when it was suddenly “unavailable”. Tried deleting and reinstalling the vacuum in Xiaomi Home, each time retrieving a new token and updating config accordingly but no luck.

Any progress on this issue?

having this issue myself

I had this problem with the latest f/w update. So, I decided to bite the bullet and install Valetudo on mine and have it use MQTT instead of a direct connection to the cloud.

Much more reliable AND the added benefit of being able to use the GLaDOS voice pack as well.

Same issue here. Anyone create an issue on GitHub?

EDIT: Might need to wait for update to python-miio
