I have 8 matter rgb bulbs lined in a row on a fence. I would like to sync their color changing to create Xmas style light display. What may I use to do this?

Automation seems inefficient for continuously changing brightness/colors on multiple independent bulbs
I don’t use scripts and never have but didn’t know if that is only option
I was hoping someone may suggest something I not think of. I use WLED in past and hoped that maybe there is something similar that work with matter bulb.
