I have a Yale Assure Lock 2 with a Z wave module installed. I’ve downloaded the app, selected the module and put in inclusion mode, via External System in the app. In HA I’ve tried to scan the QR code to add the z wave lock. That gives me an error. I then tried adding via zwave, used advanced options and selected Secure if Possible. The device says it uses S2 security. It then connects via Zwave but only allows me to ping the device. I tried doing a factory reset by putting a pin in for a minute and pulling the battery. I can’t figure this out. Any help??
How close is the lock to your coordinator when trying to include it?
I had to bring all three of my locks next to it to get them included. Unfortunately, the first one was already installed in the door. So, double work there. But learned before installing the other two 
Once included, I put them in the doors and they work fine.
I’ve heard that but I have 4 other locks (Yale Assure 1s) and they’ve had no issues and are farther away from the hub. The hub is 1 floor down and about 15 feet away.
