Yale Z-Wave lock no longer working after upgrade to .81

Just upgraded to .81.6. I initially had some issues with zwave not working at all and had to manually update .storage/core.config_entries to reflect my actual usb path.

Now my Yale lock shows up as zwave.assa_abloy_yale_touchscreen_deadbolt_yrd220, and it doesn’t look like this device cant actually be used lock or unlock anything. I used to have a lock.assa_abloy_yale_touchscreen_deadbolt_yrd220 device that actually controlled the lock function.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Edit: Just noticed the the alarm sensors for the lock are showing as sensor devices. It’s just the lock device thats missing.

did you make sure that the network key in the zwave portion of configuration.yaml is still there? It will still see the sensors but not actually do anything to the lock without it.

Have you tried restarting your HASS.io container?

my Yale lock shows up as zwave.assa_abloy_yale_touchscreen_deadbolt_yrd220

For me this happens from time to time after restart - either all the zwave devices, or just some random ones, go back to their factory names and stop working. Usually restarting HASS once or twice fixes the problem though.

That was the problem! The network key went missing somehow. I must have removed it at some point during troubleshooting.
