Firstly, thank you to Marty Sun (@h3l1o5) for the HA Yardian integration.
I was hoping to request a couple of feature additions for the integration:
- Rain Sensor status as a sensor, so that you can add it to dashboards
- Skip Toggle, so that skip can be activated by automations for various reasons, even better if there was the ability to skip specific zones/valves.
I think these would make a huge difference in the functionality of Yardian with HA. There are a number of posts where people are asking if Yardian is capable of certain things in HA, I think the above two would answer a couple of common questions for potential purchasers looking for irrigation control.
I use Tempest Weatherflow also and would love to have more automation control using data from the weather station along with outher sensors such as wireless rain sensors that don’t link directly to Yardian but can be integrated into HA.
Fingers crossed this gets on the future features list
