I have this recurrent issue for years… I wonder if I’m the only one or if someone has found a fix.
The issue:
My Yeelight LED bulbs 1S (YLDP13YL) all stop responding from HA after about ~1200h uptime.
A bit less actually, but I never managed to pinpoint the exact time. I would say between 1100h and 1200h, but every time I see it, it is close to 1200h.
I tried to restart HA, force wifi disconnection, disabling then enabling again LAN control on the bulbs, no luck.
The only “fix” is to power cycle the bulb.
It happens with all of them.
I’m running FW 2.1.7_0039.
Note: when it happens, it is still working more or less from Yeelight or Mi Home app, but it is slow and after a while, I lose control too from the app.
I’ll open a thread on yeelight forum too but if you have any clue or idea, I’ll be happy to read you
same here. Problem occurred with 2 ceiling lamps and 1 desk lamp. However one Yeelight bulb works ok.
I am afraid it is not a problem of HA/HA integration but something with Yeelight servers/firmware. I saw a lot of people asking for whitelist their ID. Not sure what for.
It started 2 or 3 days ago. One day after updating HA to 2025.2, however I think it was a coincident as controlling lamps by Yeelight app is also problematic.
Hello,
I have the same problem with the same bulbs. With the official app they work fine for now. Actually I am a new user of the home assistant and unfortunately despite the incredible work that has been done with this app, for me the behavior is too unpredictable.
These bulbs refused to work, the LaCrosse thermometer the weather station works very unstable… etc…
Unfortunately, nothing is fixing my problem at the moment. Yeelight S1 bulbs have been completely invisible to Home Assistant for several days. In the Yeelight app they work without any problems. Apparently the integration just broke after one of the latest updates. About 1 month ago, I decided to test Home Assistant for the first time and then I was impressed that these Yeelight bulbs were automatically detected absolutely without any problems but for about 1 week they have been gone From my brief experience, only my Zigbee devices and a few Blitzwolf (Tuya) sockets work most reliably and smoothly.
