"your .homeassistant directory" is this now /config?

I have read through many topics on this, and I can not get a definitive answer. Trying to install Weather Underground (with an API Key that I do have) using Home-Assistant-wundergroundpws and the README.md states that

copy the custom_components directory into your .homeassistant directory

I am using a raspberryPi and there is no .homeassistant
Not at /home/pi/.homeassistant
Not at /var/opt/homeassistant

I do check hidden with an ls -la and there is no .homeassistant

So is this an old directory that is now /config ??

For the Raspberry Pi it is /config not a .homeassistant
