Some of my z-wave nodes are split into multiple devices. I don’t know if there’s a limit in the number of entities per device, but it is rather impractical. Eg. one of my thermostats has its temperature sensor split into a new device, and thus does not show its temperature in the climate entity. Some of the “extra” devices are even empty - no entities. Any clarifications or suggestions here?
Search for multi-channel devices. That’s what a Smart Implant is, and creating a Device for each endpoint of a multi-channel device is what HA does by design.
