Z-Wave dongle plug in location

Hi. I’d like to plug my Z-Wave dongle (not in hand yet) in somewhere other than my HA RaspberryPi. HA sees all devices on my network. Is it practical to do this?

Hi, you can indeed! But the next question is how you want to connect this device to your network.
If you have a wired ethernet network with a PoE switch, then you can try commercial solutions like:
