Z-Wave integration does not connect after backup restore

I am on an RPI4 and as a safeguard if a card goes bad, I rotate several cards as follow: I create a backup to another computer, remove the running card, put in another card and restore from backup.

Recently, my Z-Wave integration failed to connect to the Z-Wave JS UI add-on.

I found the Zwavejs add-on was installed though not running. Z-Wave JS UI was installed and running.

Note: Z-Wave JS UI add-on is what I was using - was backed up.

I went into the integration, chose Reconfigure, and corrected the server. All seems well.

My question is WTH happened? Why did Zwavejs add on get installed, and why did the integration change its server?

It is possible that the old card had my previous HA system (I since then rebuilt from scratch for an unrelated reason). But the backup should have had only the Z-Wave JS UI add on.

Zwavejs addon is installe by default (unless you check /uncheck) box during install of zwave integration

It’s VERY common for people to have zwavejs installed and not running and not realize it until one day whe zwave stops working

As far as server reconfigure that’s weird. Was should it be and what did it change to?

Uninstall this.
Having both installed means a race condition could enable it and show as you are seeing.
