Z-wave network start/stop creates duplicate nodes

While battling the removal of a unresponsive Aeotec Multisensor following a firmware update I started and stopped the z-wave network via the z-wave control panel UI. Now I have duplicate devices, e.g. I have two entries for the Z-stick and two for the Multisensor. If I hit the “save config” button I can see in the XML it is correct with only two entries. Where is the UI getting it’s data from? Every time you stop/start the network all the devices are duplicated one more time…

An aside, but possibly related, when adding a new device the control panel will show “(Node:3 Complete)” for the node name, not the more useful name, e.g. “Aeotec Multisensor”. When the network is stopped/started the user–friendly name now appears on the duplicated node entry while the other entry still shows “(Node:3 Complete)”.

I’m running 0.64 but this is not a new issue and has been around for a few versions. Anyone know what’s going on?

Thanks.

I have the same issue, duplicated devices show up.

I even tried renaming the device in the zwave configuration of that device and it still shows up duplicated.
In the history page the graphs still show up with the old name:

The only place where I see duplicate entries is in the zwcfg_0xf93a649b.xml file, I removed the duplicated saved and restarted the raspberry pi, but the entries are still there, I think the file is generated.
