I have 4 NodOn z-wave smart plugs in my home. All but one show up in the Z-wave config in HA. Ths missing one, however, is visible on the states page. I want to rename it, but can’t do so as long as is doesn’t show up in the Z-wave config.
Also, I have a couple of “node gaps” from z-wave inclusions that somehow failed. Is there a way to make those node_ids available in the z-wave network again? I guess it is not super important, but I don’t like “garbich” lying around in the system.
those nodes are marked as failed in the controller and will only get reused when you reach node 232 and add another. The only other way to get those nodes back is to reset your controller back to factory defaults and add all devices again. as for not appearing in the z wave config panel, I’ve had to restart HA at least once for some changes like name and config parameters to appear or take effect.
Thanks, I leave the failed nodes then. The other problem was resolved when I added the name of the node in my configuration.yaml setup.
