Z-Wave Stick

Hi there,
I‘m currently looking for an alternative technology that can replace my homee - hardware. Before I started my homee-journey, I had evaluated io.Broker. I still own the Z-Wave stick:

Z-Wave USB Stick (ZMEEUZB1) (ASIN: B00VKEH1BQ)

Would you recommend to (re-)use this stick or should I better purchase a new one for home assistant?

I’m using this stick now for almost three years with HA. It never failed. None of troubles I ever had with Zwave had anything to do with it.
I also daily read on this forum, and from what I see, there are two options:

  • No other people are using this one
  • No one has troubles with it
    Because I never see problems here about this stick.

So my bet? Be happy having it and stick it into your HA machine. As long, as it is no 700 series Aeotec stick, it can only be better :slight_smile:
