ZBDongle-P Coordinator refuses to pair new and existing devices

I have a ZBDongle-P running with HA for over a year and suddenly one device after another drops out of the network (“offline”) and i can’t get them back in. All pairings, even for new devices end up with the same error

[2025-06-04 15:01:01] Interview - failed for device '0x0ceff6fffecdff59' with error 'Error: Interview failed because can not get node descriptor'

What could have been wrong?

Did you try to restart Zigbee2mqtt?

Meanwhile i replaced the Dongle with a new one. I’m not sure what healed it in the end, could be that cleaning the NVRAM would have been enough, don’t know.
