ZBT-2 waste of money IMO.Before you really check if it suits your situation or not

I bought a ZBT-2 to upgrade my Zigbee network. I use Z2M i’m currently using the Sonoff dongle but there seems to be no simple way to swap them over. You see all the people on Youtube showing the simple new installs which is obviously simple to do or upgrade the ZHA but you don’t see anything complicated. I wish I had known this before buying I feel ripped off but my fault. I will not be buying anything else from Nabu Casa without making sure its easy to install and use in future. I know I can delete and reintall but I have 95 devices connected and I dont want to lose all that data.

To be fair, the way to upgrade or move to other coordinators is well documented including the problems you can run into:
Z2M Migrate to other adapters
Including alot of discussions on this forum on tricks and advice against migrating in these cases.

You found your way to complain here, why not do a tiny bit of research?

The point I was trying to make is I wish I had not bought it because there is no easy way to actually use it unless you are using ZHA. Then I’m sure it would be really easy. But I can’t use ZHA because I use mosquitto broker and some of my device are not supported on ZHA.
I been looking to find something to follow for over a week.but it all seems abit wishy washy even the page you sent a link to say might work and sends you to other pages not exactly straight forward that is what im saying and when you have 2.5 years of data from some of these devices not the best feeling having to delete them and repair will all the data be there is my question I know i backup but still

I still don’t get what problem you have with the zbt-2 (no, I don’t own any). Most of your ranting is about the migration, which isn’t implemented well in the zigbee standards - but that’s largely independent of the coordinators you come from/ go to and would happen the same with any other coordinator migration.
