ZHA IKEA STYRBAR RGB Lamp testers and dev support wanted

I couldn’t find a fitting blueprint able to control IKEAs E14 socket RGB bulbs with a STYRBAR remote via ZHA to my liking (basically getting close to the control of a DIRIGERA gateway). So with heavily using AI to an ungodly amount this is my current state of a development blueprint for STYRBAR (E2002) controlling a “TRADFRI bulb E14 CWS globe 806lm”

Keep in mind that this is basically 80% AI and 20% me, as these are my first steps with genuine blueprint functions.

It seems to have to find a way around reading what colour is currently running on the light bulb with a calculation of how close it is to one of the predefined colours, limiting me in the range of colors I can set. (Haven’t got into “helpers” quite yet).

As with every AI code it might be that custom that it isn’t really able to be copied to other setups. So if you’re so kind and test it on a fitting setup on your end… That would be nice.

For now the bulb turns on and quickly gets to a red colour, but you should be able to cycle them using the arrow keys on a STYRBAR.

My next steps trying to find with countles hours of Perplexity Coding is a separation between white colour temperature modes and a separate mode to set the bulb into a “colour” mode and then I’ll try to find ways off the limited colour range, maybe getting into “helpers” I have to use due to the bulbs not exactly stating the xy colours given to them as running xy colors.

If theres some people to test - you don’t have to, but my goal is to get to a blueprint which is actually able to support STYRBAR to any IKEA RGB Bulb…

Hello paradonym,

Thanks to your AI find and you for contributing to the community with a new Blueprint.
I have a suggestion for you. Many people who are not familiar with directory structures will have problems installing this without the Home Assistant MY tools.
Adding a MY link for this Blueprint to your top post would help them a lot.
Here is the link to make that.
